QV Embossed 10d. Red-brown shade fine colour cut square example touching top, slightly cut into RHSide, showing portion adjoining embossed stamp to base. Lightly cancelled, clear profile well-tied to wrapper bearing fine blue JY 31 1852 LISKEARD Cornwall CDS. Addressed Bankers and part imprint SOMERSETSHIRE BANK reverse manuscript dated 30 July 1852. Quite rare on cover (SG catalogue £3,200=), although allowance should be made for part wrapper. Filing fold clear of adhesive, part S.E. corner missing. Mild staining, but attractive wrapper and scarce usage (1 Cover) (UPA CERTIFICATE)
