QV Embossed 6d. Violet very fine used 3 to 4 margins example (the 4th margin concealed by the perf 14. 2d. Blue adhesive. An incredibly fine used example of the rare 6d. Violet catalogued £4,000= used (unpriced mint) - so rarely encountered. Both embossed 6d. Violet and 2d. Blue well tied to small part original piece by fine clearly legible black BIRKENHEAD 16 SP 1856 spoon cancels. Accompanied by 2001 Philatelic Expertising photo-certificate. The 6d. VIOLET is an incredibly difficult shade to find in this condition, presently we cannot find a comparable example in market search: consider this example if the 6d.
