Deep Red-Brown Plate 13 letters R-B, wmk small crown P.14 Die II, Alph II, fabulous fresh colour example centred S.W., otherwise absolutely Superb, well-cancelled by crisp '-83' English Provincial numeral. Apparently this plate reported for wide spacings in letter by Ormond Hill to Perkins, Bacon on 18th May 1855. SG Specialised C3 PL13 catalogued £200=. A scarce plate. Superb Used (1v.)
