Great Britain - Covers - KGV, 1925, SG432/433
218 images: TWO VOLUME 1925 WEMBLEY Unique Philatelic & Social History Collection. I'm not going to say too much about this collection because, I think the 218 images should tell the story. Although I cannot recall seeing anything that specifically reveals the originator to my mind this collection was painstakingly put together, card by card, by a British War Veteran, possibly disabled. The clues are there, and perhaps more to be deduced The addresses vary, just how was the collection put together. Then there's the strong patriotic messages, copious articles/clippings/images on the reverse of the cards Generally fine to very fine. As you know the 1925 is the much better/scarcer Wembley Series, and these are popular amongst the 'Exhibitions' collecting fraternity I think I worked it out at something like £11.50 a card at the full GBP£3,750= starting price but I may be wrong. Worth checking for even though £3,750= is a lot of money this does not feel expensive.
