QV 'POST PAID' 1d. Red / Yellowish, grey or bluish paper of poor quality: Latest impressions, imperforate, four good to large margins: 2025 RPSLondon Photo-certificate states: Imperf - Unused, no gum - small thins (reverse) top left and centre - Is Genuine. Reverse is basically sound for these rare stamps, scattering tiny facial dots not mentioned upon certificate. This example matches virtually word for word Gibbons description of the latest impression: almost none of design showing except part of Queen's head and frame. Justifiably these issues are some of the rarest and most desirable of British Empire classics, unused examples are of considerable rarity, used examples turn up, but unused mint examples are rarely encountered.
