QV 16 dots 1d. Lilac watermark INVERTED, plus PRINTED on the GUMMED SIDE. Unusually fine example save for one defective perforation, with full original gum on the printed side, and naturally no gum on the blank reverse. Tiny mount traces upon reverse, otherwise fresh and fine. There is a real following for varieties/errors upon the 1d. Lilac with this being one of the better/best. Typically a £500+ stamp, consequently price-dropping Rarely Offered (1v.) (UPA CERTIFICATE)
