QEII 'Murillo' Madonna and Child Paintings Christmas 4d. ERROR Missing GOLD Queen's Head and Denomination - unmounted mint with (phosphor) normal unmounted mint never hinged. Probably under-catalogued by SG at £70 the last lots offered sold almost immediately for in excess of £50 from memory. This example appears so dramatic that a companion example of equal appearance against the contrasting normal was thought to be also the missing greenish yellow in tandem with missing gold (an £8,000= catalogue value stamp) consequently the companion value was submitted to the RPSL Expert Committee who disabused us of this notion.
