1840 1st 2d. Blue plate 1 letters S-E, deeper blue F-VFU 4 good to large margins example neatly cancelled by large part red-brown maltese cross, good colour though colour part oxidised N.W. Reverse oiling from maltese cross inkk suffusion, otherwise very fine. Typically a £500 retail value example though small part oxidation limits to £400 launch price which may even be inexpensive hey ho. Nice (UPA CERTIFICATE)
