1840 1st No white lines 2d. Pale blue horizontal pair letters N-A, N-B, left-hand sheet marginal position, good to huge margins well-balanced appearance bearing portion of adjoining stamp to right, a fine pale blue shade showing evidence of plate wear beside N.E. 'star' of N-A, fine Plate 1 imperforate pair cancelled by light red maltese crosses, apparently pen-cancelled too. Reverse light pencil manuscript. No faults. Ultra-Violet checked. Red MC cancelled pairs are scarce, catalogued £2,500= as singles alone excluding premium for horizontal pair. Pretty (UPA CERTIFICATE)
