Chalk surface paper slate purple and deep (Glossy) carmine, superb colour 'enamelled' glossy carmine, well-centred clear profile outline cancelled by superb SON, almost full legible TRURO 6.30 p.m. JA 21 (19)10 Cornwall CDS. Rare so fine. We wonder whether a few sheets of the rare 'glossy' variant were consigned to Cornish Post Offices, because we presently offer another example clearly cancelled (but undated CDS) at PERRANWELL STA(TION) Cornwall.
