New Zealand : Full face 'Chalon' wmk large star 2d. Dull blue, blued paper, fine deep colour 3½ margin fine used example, trace of adjoining stsamp top margin, plus tiny upper marginal thin, reverse light pencil manuscript, lightly cancelled clear profile, small ink trace S.E. Fine for these small printing 1st issues, of which only 66,000 were produced (compare that to c.66 million x 1d. Blacks printed!). Difficult (UPA CERTIFICATE).
